An exquisite treasure of the Nation is to arise in the year 2019. - The world's first Gandhi’s memorabilia Museum - a prodigious endeavor of Gandhi World Foundation
For the first time in India, in Tamil Nadu, on 2nd Oct 2019 to celebrate the occasion of Gandhiji's 150th birthday in a grandiose manner and to create a history for the historian, Gandhi World Foundation has planned to establish the world’s first ever memorabilia Museum for Gandhiji.
This museum will consist relics which will reminisce Gandhiji’s ideas, thoughts and greatness. Many unique, unseen collectables published by many countries (Statue models which are in about 90 countries, more than 450 stamps which were published by 120 countries, coins, tokens, telephone cards & letters written by Gandhi) are to be exhibited in this museum. Besides this, a Meditation hall, Classrooms and a theatre which will impart and commemorate Mahatma’s teachings are to be erected here.
To add feather to the crown, this museum is set to be located in a quiet nature scenic site. Unlike other museums across the globe, this will be entirely different with several state-of-the-art features & ideas. In the year 2019, when the museum is unveiled, this will certainly be one of the top tourist spots in Tamil Nadu
The relics & collectables which are to be displayed in the museum are presently with the Gandhi World Foundation. To construct the Gandhi’s Memorabilia Museum, we are in need of a site and financial support. We warmly welcome any kind of support from donors, Educational trusts, Business organizations and general public for this prodigious cause.
This Museum being the first of its kind will certainly be a remarkable one requires material assistance, financial assistance & physical labor.
