Though there are talented youths (in Cricket) available in rural areas like Gummidipoondi, lack of Training Centre with a proper infrastructure, guides / Trainers and exposure, talents are ignored and hindered.Whereas, in urban areas Training Centers with a good infrastructure are available at every nuke and corner. Having utilized the training centers, urban youths are managing to shine in their sports carrier. In a country like India, where there are huge numbers of villages, training centers are very much in need to identify and bring out the hidden talents of the youths. By training them in a proper manner would make enable contribute to the country’s sporting to a great extend in the future. Having this in mind, we have taken an initiative to explore the talents in urban areas like Gummidipoondi and help them come up as a good cricketer in the days to come.
Our MIssion
In continuation of the above, we have taken initiative in training local youths. During the course of our training, arrangements have been made to invite former cricketers and cricket celebrities as special guests to train the interested youths. Moreover, a video recording well be done during the practice sessions and the same will be showed to the players for observation. This would enable a player to identify his own shortcomings / faults and correct the same. Best players will be identified and would be sent to participate in Division and District Matches. Our ultimate Goal for the entire initiative is to send at least one ore few players to participate n state level Matches. We hereby wish to thank all those who have voluntarily extended their help to make this academy possible.
